Hyla arborea

On a Sunday in wonderful spring weather there is hardly anything better than taking a trip into nature. A nature reserve with several ponds was the perfect place to go during this time of the year. The main target of the trip was to find European Tree Frogs (Hyla arborea). Finding some frogs more or less active in the water, as well as sitting in the vegetation around the ponds was super cool. It was a very nice and successful day.

I also saw some Water Frogs (Pelophylax sp.) and Smooth Newts (Lissotriton vulgaris). The only active reptiles were some Viviparous Lizards, unfortunately too shy for a decent picture.
